I'm planning to form an Israeli Ltd with two co-founders. I want to lock in equity, draft a shareholders' agreement, assign roles, and handle capital requirements and filings with the Registrar of Companies. Do I need legal representation to ensure compliance with tax and corporate rules and avoid future disputes?

Hi, The process for creating an Israeli Ltd is not complicated if all 3 co founders are Israeli citizens. You can do it online yourself, or with an Israel attorney if you want to make sure you're doing it right. If one or some of the co-founders aren't Israeli then the process is a little more complicated and definitely requires a lawyer. As for all the other issues you mentioned, these (and more) are all covered in the Founders Agreement and I highly suggest that you use a high-tech lawyer for this.
