We are first and foremost a commercial law practice. Our main focus is commercial law and commercial litigation.
Employment law has been an important part of our practice for many years. Much of our work involves preparing and advising on employee contracts, industrial disputes and contested termination of employment issues.
We are currently advising a major airline on the restructuring of its operations. We regularly advise clients on the receivership and insolvency provisions of the Companies Act 1997.
Commercial litigation including alternative dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation and expert determination) is the largest part of our PNG practice.
We have a strong commercial property team. We have structured and documented a number of hotel developments and large land subdivisions.
