He is a holder of a Doctor of Philosophy in Commercial Law (Dispute Resolution), Master of Laws (LL.M) specializing in Dispute Resolution from the University of Cape Town, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Honours from Moi University. He is in the process of pursuing his doctoral program at the University of Cape Town
Dr. Abenga brings to the table immense legal research and writing skills, which are evident from the publications he has to his name. He has authored a book titled ‘Religious Liberty: Freedom of Worship under the Kenyan Constitution’ Published by Lambert Academic Publishers, in addition to 3 Published papers with the Social Science Research Network. Due to his academic skills, Dr. Abenga is privileged to serve as a lecturer at law at the Kisii University School of Law, where he seeks to impart critical skills to his students.
Experience
As a litigator, Dr. Abenga has been privileged to perfect the art of courtroom litigation through engaging in client representation at various courts of law in the land, including the Court of Appeal. Dr. Abenga is also privileged to have been trained as a trial lawyer by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), an American Trial Advocacy Training Institute. Dr. Abenga’s courtroom skills were evident from his days at Moi University where he participated in various moot court competitions, the height of his student life leading the Moi University School of Law team to win the Spirit of the Competition Award in the Monroe .E. Price International Media Law Moot Court Competition held at the University of Oxford.
Dr. Abenga is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the International Court of Justice, and is a litigator and children's rights protector with the CRADLE Foundation. His legal chops and passion for justice have won him several awards including the pro bono lawyer of the year award by CRADLE.

Ms. Ruth Okara is an Advocate and a Partner with Begi’s Law Office and a law graduate of the University of Nairobi. She started her career in the corporate world and rose through the ranks to the position of a Senior Associate at Deloitte & Touché in the Audit and Compliance Department. She has most recently worked with the Law Society of Kenya under their “Supporting Access to Justice for Children in East Africa Programme” partnering with the Canadian Bar Association where she was extensively involved in defending juvenile offenders and educating young people on their rights and responsibilities.
Experience
In addition, she has been a consultant in various projects such as human rights, children matters and oil and gas. Ruth has been grooming herself in various areas of law including criminal law, commercial, corporate, succession, children matters, banking and insurance. She also has a grasp of the operational and financial aspects of organizations that handle such matters having worked as an auditor in a very busy firm for over 3 years.
Ruth is an Advocate having completed her training and complied with all the requirements for admission. In addition to this, she has successfully qualified as a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a member of the Federation of Women Lawyers – Kenya Chapter. She has wide exposure to both litigation and non-litigation matters. With an academic background in both Accounting and law, she contributes great value to the firm. Her goal in life is to see justice being made a firm pillar in our everyday lives because of incremental changes that would be the result of systematic advocacy that brings about fair legal practices in Kenya and in the world.

Ms. Chloe Nambirige is an Advocate of the High Court and a partner in charge of corporate, commercial, and transactional law. She is a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking person with good personal skills and very high integrity. Ms. Nambirige boasts of a success rate of over 70% of all legal matters that she has handled, which exposure has enabled her to maintain healthy relationships with clients. Her key skills are in the negotiation, drafting, and execution of various commercial contracts, engaging in the strategic transactional advisory as well as excelling in corporate and commercial litigation.
Education
Ms. Chloe Nambirige is a graduate of Makerere University in Kampala Uganda, graduating with a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree. She then attended a Pre-bar training program at the Riara University School of Law in Nairobi before proceeding to the Kenya School of Law for her Advocates Training Program.
Experience
Before joining Begi’s Law Offices & Chambers, Ms. Nambirige worked as an Associate at Machuki and Company Advocates, where she honed skills in the provision of strategic legal advice to clients, legal research, and drafting of contracts, transactional negotiation, and the preparation of various conveyancing documents.
Ms. Nambirige undertook her pupillage program at Bashir and Noor Advocates where she was trained in the incorporation of companies under the respective laws, as well as undertaking and overseeing conveyancing transactions from inception to completion. Ms. Nambirige also previously worked at C.R. Amanya & Company Advocates as an intern as well as at Law Governance Advocates-Uganda as a Personal Assistant. Ms. Nambirge brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the disposal of all clients of Begi’s Law Offices & Chambers.
