Shakhzoda Pulatova serves as a Managing Partner of Uzbekistan office of Merritz Law Firm.
Shakhzoda has extensive experience representing and protecting the interests of individuals and legal entities in commercial and corporate matters before the state authorities, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, local courts. Jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Shakhzoda has conducted numerous seminars and trainings for entrepreneurs and enterprises operating in Uzbekistan with the focus to raise their legal awareness and facilitate access to justice.
Shakhzoda is actively involved in legislative work assisting the team of experts in drafting the laws aimed at women empowerment in various sectors.
Shakhzoda’s publications are featured in various local and foreign media and peer-reviewed academic journals in Uzbekistan and beyond.
She is a trainer mediator and alternative dispute resolution specialist (Europartners 2007 Foundation).
