When you submit an inquiry or post a question on Lawzana, an account is automatically created for you. Here's what you need to know.
Automatic Account Creation#
You don't need to sign up separately. When you:
- Submit a lead inquiry to find a lawyer
- Send a direct message to a firm
- Post a legal question in Ask a Lawyer
Lawzana automatically creates an account using the email address you provide. This lets you track your inquiries and interact with the platform.
Managing Your Inquiries#
Viewing Your Inquiry#
After submitting an inquiry, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to view it. Use this link to check the status of your request.
Marking an Inquiry as Resolved#
Once you've found a lawyer or no longer need assistance:
- Click the link in your confirmation email
- Select the option to mark your inquiry as resolved
- This lets law firms know you've been helped
Your Information#
What We Store#
When you use Lawzana, we store:
- Your name, email, and phone number (provided during inquiry submission)
- Your inquiry details (message, practice area, location, urgency, budget)
- General location data (country and city, derived from your connection)
What We Share#
- Your inquiry details are shared with matched law firms so they can assess whether they can help
- Your contact information (name, email, phone) is shared with firms that receive your inquiry
- Your personal information is never sold to third parties
Privacy#

- Your data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws
- You can request deletion of your account by contacting us
