mr. NPJM (Nicole) Krete-Marres

mr. Nicole Kreté-Marres started her legal career at KienhuisHoving Advocaten in Enschede. She worked there as a lawyer for six years, specializing in the law of persons, family and inheritance in the broadest sense of the word. She continued her career at Verhoeff Advocaten and Mediators in The Hague. Nicole has been working as a partner at KreteMarres Advocatuur and Mediaton since May 2011.

​Nicole specializes in divorce cases involving entrepreneurs, divorces with an international character and inheritance law. She also has a lot of experience with alimony issues, access arrangements, custody issues, name changes and adoption procedures. She can also advise on matrimonial property law (nuptial agreements, division and separation of marital property) and cases involving children.

​Due to her knowledge and experience in Youth Welfare Work - and specifically through her HBO-J (Youth Welfare Work) training - Nicole
also pays special attention to the emotions of divorcing partners and their children, in addition to the legal consequences of a divorce. This combination is her strength as a divorce mediator and mediator. Her training in Youth Welfare Work and her work experience with children are also of great added value in drawing up parenting plans.

​Every year she attends various legal and tax courses to ensure that she stays abreast of the latest legal developments. The highest possible specialization for both personal and family law and inheritance law is the VFAS specialization course. She completed both by means of an oral exam with a 9 for law of persons and family law and an 8 for inheritance law. She also successfully passed the VEAN exam. In mediation she is able to regulate intense emotions and with her legal financial knowledge to ensure that a well-considered and balanced agreement is concluded.
