Construction Law

Construction law is an area of law that relates to matters such as infrastructure, housing, planning permission, and engineering. Since construction and architecture works need to follow a number of regulations, construction law is a very diverse area covering a range of legal issues. It can be divided into two main categories: non-contentious and contentious.

Non-Contentious work involves negotiation of contracts and general procurement, which happens before the actual construction begins.

The Contentious part of construction law would occur when something goes wrong during the construction process, and the resolution would usually follow the written contract during the procurement stage. To minimize the cost, the parties would resolve disputes through adjudication or arbitration.

Construction Lawyer

Lawyer specializes in construction would be engaged in the negotiation and terms for the parties involved in the project. They are also associated with all the steps of the construction process from the beginning to the final stage. If problems arise, construction lawyers are also responsible for facilitating dispute resolution and/or arbitration for the parties.

If you find yourself in a dispute during a construction project, consider getting advice from a professional construction lawyer to swiftly and safely resolve the legal issues.
