Account Settings

Manage your personal account details, password, and security settings from the Account Settings page.

Accessing Account Settings#

  1. Click your profile icon in the sidebar
  2. Select Settings or Account
  3. Or navigate directly to /dashboard/account

General Settings#

Updating Your Personal Information#

  1. Go to the General tab in Account Settings
  2. Update your details:
    • First name
    • Last name
    • Email address
    • Phone number
  3. Click Save
Note
Your email address is used for login and all platform notifications. Make sure it's up to date.

Changing Your Password#

  1. Go to the Password tab in Account Settings
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter your new password
  4. Confirm the new password
  5. Click Update Password

Password requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
Tip
Use a strong, unique password that you don't use on other sites. Consider using a password manager.

Password Reset#

If you've forgotten your password:

  1. Go to the Lawzana login page
  2. Click Forgot Password?
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a password reset link
  5. Click the link and create a new password

The reset link expires after a set time for security.

Managing Firm Users#

If you're the primary account holder or an admin, you can manage who has access to your firm's dashboard.

Inviting a Team Member#

  1. Go to your firm profile settings
  2. Navigate to the user management section
  3. Click Invite User
  4. Enter their email address
  5. Set their role
  6. The invitee receives an email with instructions to join

User Roles#

Role Access Level
Lawyer Full access to inbox, Q&A, reviews, profile, and reporting
Admin Same as Lawyer plus admin-level features

Removing a User#

  1. Go to the user management section
  2. Click Remove next to the user you want to remove
  3. Confirm the removal

Removed users immediately lose access to the firm's dashboard.

Logging Out#

Click your profile icon in the sidebar and select Logout, or use the logout option in the navigation menu. You'll be redirected to the Lawzana homepage.
