Search

Lawzana Flow provides fast, powerful search to help you find anything across your practice — leads, matters, contacts, and documents.

Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from anywhere in the app to open the command palette. This is the fastest way to find things.

  • Leads — By name, email, or phone
  • Matters — By title or client name
  • Contacts — By name, email, phone, or company
  • Documents — By file name
  • Navigation — Jump to any page (e.g., type "Settings" to go to Settings)

How to Use#

  1. Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K
  2. Start typing your search term
  3. Results appear instantly, grouped by type (Leads, Matters, Contacts, etc.)
  4. Use and arrow keys to navigate results
  5. Press Enter to open the selected result
  6. Press Esc to close
Tip
The command palette searches across all categories simultaneously. You don't need to specify what you're looking for — just type.

Lawzana Flow uses Meilisearch for near-instant, typo-tolerant search:

  • Results appear in under 50 milliseconds
  • Typo tolerance — Finds results even with small spelling mistakes
  • Partial matching — Finds results as you type
  • Searches across names, emails, phone numbers, file names, and matter titles

Search from List Views#

Each major section (Leads, Matters, Contacts, Files) has its own search bar:

  1. Click the search input at the top of the list
  2. Type your query
  3. The list filters in real-time to show matching results
  4. Combined with other filters (stage, practice area, etc.) for precise results

Filters#

Combine search with filters for precise results:

Section Available Filters
Leads Stage, source, assigned to
Matters Stage, practice area, assigned to
Contacts Type (person/company)
Documents File type, date range

Saved Filters#

Save your frequently used filter combinations:

  1. Set up your desired filters
  2. Click Save Filter
  3. Name the filter
  4. Access saved filters from the filter menu
