Billing & Plans

Lawzana Flow uses Stripe for subscription billing. This guide covers plans, pricing, trials, and AI credit management.

Free Trial#

Every new organization starts with a 14-day free trial that includes:

  • Full access to all features
  • Up to 3 users (the owner + 2 invited members)
  • 500 AI credits per month
  • No credit card required to start

Subscription Plans#

After the trial, subscribe to continue using Lawzana Flow. Plans are seat-based — you pay per active team member.

  • Full AI analysis suite (summaries, facts, chat, gap analysis, deviation detection)
  • Drafting with AI assistance
  • Client portal
  • Automations
  • Zapier and widget integrations

Per-Seat Pricing#

Each seat covers one active team member. Your bill adjusts automatically when you add or remove members.

AI Credits#

AI features use credits from your monthly quota. Credits reset at the start of each billing period.

Monitoring Usage#

Track your AI credit usage in Settings → AI Usage:

  • Progress bar showing credits used vs. available
  • Breakdown by operation type
  • Reset date — when your credits renew
Note
Included credits reset each billing period. If you continue using AI after your included quota is exhausted, overage charges may apply instead of blocking access.

Managing Your Subscription#

Accessing Billing#

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Manage Billing to open the Stripe portal
Note
Only the organization Owner can access billing settings.

In the Billing Portal You Can:#

  • Update your payment method (credit card, debit card)
  • View and download invoices
  • Change your plan (upgrade or downgrade)
  • Update your billing email
  • Cancel your subscription

Subscription Status#

Status Meaning
Trialing In the 14-day free trial
Active Subscription is active and current
Past Due Payment failed — update your payment method to restore access
Canceled Subscription has been canceled

What Happens When You Cancel#

  • Your data is preserved for 30 days
  • You can reactivate within that window
  • After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted
  • Export your data before canceling if you need records

Seat Management#

Adding Seats#

When you invite a new team member, a seat is automatically added to your subscription. Your next invoice reflects the additional seat (prorated for the current period).

Removing Seats#

When you remove a team member, the seat is removed from your subscription. Your next invoice is reduced accordingly.

Data Region#

Your data region (US, EU, or APAC) is selected during onboarding. This determines where your primary Lawzana Flow data is stored. For details on where AI operations are processed and region-specific compliance considerations, see Security & Privacy.
